For those new to gilding or professionals wanting to make their art more noticeable, our Kolner starter kit is a great introduction to getting a bright burnished look without watergilding and using a burnisher.
This Instacoll starter kit will give you a hands-on introduction to the bright results you can get with Kölner Instacoll. Instacoll can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. The Instacoll Base is applied to a clean surface, and once it has smoothed and set, gold leaf is pressed in to it. The activator can be used to reactivate the adhesive qualities of the Base if it has dried to the point where the leaf no longer adheres
The kit includes 5ml of Kölner Instacoll Yellow, 5ml of Kölner Instacoll Activator, one Kölner Tissue, a booklet of 5 leaves of 23k Double Gold Transfer Leaf and instructions. The gold leaf booklet will allow you to cover up to 40 square inches of surface area. An optional 1/4" Taklon Brush is available.
