Our Voltarra 12 karat gold leaf contains 51% real gold with silver and palladium added, producing a warm silver-colored leaf often called White Gold.
12k, also known as 'White Gold', is used on gilding projects that require a silver color that is warmer than silver. It is commonly used for indoor architectural projects, picture frames, and artwork. Because of the high silver content of this leaf, all 12k leaf MUST be sealed to keep it from tarnishing.
The leaves are 3-1/8" square, available in both loose and transfer/patent leaf, and are packaged in books of 25 leaves each, or packs of 500 leaves. Booklets of 5 leaves are also available. Composition: 51.0% Au, 48.0% Ag, 1.0% Pd
