This Basic Gilder’s Tip is ideal for applying gold leaf if you are starting your gilding experience or doing a small project.
The brush is made of a synthetic material, with no animal hair used. The handle is made from wrapped black cardboard.
The tip can be cleaned after each use, using a solvent appropriate for the adhesive that was used. It is best dried by laying it on a clean flat surface, so that it retains its shape and is ready for its next use.
