Water-Based Clear Gloss Topcoat is an ultra-clear polyurethane coating for indoor and outdoor applications. It protects gold and other metal leaf from handling, touching, tarnishing and oxidation while providing a clear gloss finish.
It is not recommended for surfaces subjected to heavy use, such as tabletops or cabinet doors.
When properly applied, Water-Based Clear Gloss Topcoat helps prevent tarnishing and oxidation of leaf with a lower gold content, including 18k and 12k gold leaf, as well as silver, imitation and variegated leaf.
Water-Based Clear Gloss Topcoat does not require special shipping handling and can be shipped by USPS.
