Our Premium Gilders Tip is made of single thick 100% Blue Squirrel hair, which allows you to easily see through the hairs so that you can place the gold or silver leaf where you want.
The tip can also be used as a soft brush to push the leaf down onto the size in the gilding process. It will not carry a static charge and will last for years.
The tip should be cleaned after each use, using a solvent appropriate for the adhesive that was used. It is best dried by laying it on a clean flat surface, so that it retains its shape and is ready for its next use.
